I don't know why I love pics of these derelict buildings. I guess it's because I know so much went on there....and wonder what that was. And they are elegant and mysterious in their own right. The artistry and craftsmanship of that calibur may never be reproduced again. Thanks for this stumble remixboy :)

The new Robert Redford Sundance Film Theater here in MadCity....first one in the country I think....like it, but a few irksome problems with seeing flicks here....you have to call ahead and reserve one of the four seats they have in each theater....and you're a really long way away from the screen....and there are open windows galore so seeing a flick during daylight hours is always a challenge.....you also have to watch out for broken "ancient ruins" as you walk up the numerous marble stairs to the seats (my friend says it isn't marble, just great concrete!)....Theater does have it's own bar and restaurant if you don't mind paying Park City-Utah-Festival prices.....an 8 ounce Schlitz in a can set me back 5 bucks....actual beer was even more!!....and the Park City Reuben with a side order of Sundance-Flower Seeds was $19.95....still, it's the only theater showing some of the movies I want to see (The Doughy Pantload Chronicles, for instance) so what's a fella to do?
