HistoryBuff.com is a nonprofit organization devoted to providing FREE primary souce material for students, teachers, and historybuffs. This site focuses primarily on HOW news of major, and not so major, events in American history were reported in newspapers of the time. In addition, there is information about the technology used to produce newspapers over the past 400 years.

conscience rated 35 months ago- I enjoy reading history, but my reading always leads me to the conclusion, that there is more that one country in the world, beside the USA. Consquently, until such time as authors of such sites as this one, can appreciate this fact, it makes it impossible not only for their understanding of history to be taken seriously, but leaves one seriously questioning, how finely balanced and nuanced that undertstanding might be! One wonders if they are not little better than FOXTEL was in reporting the Iraq war and its causes?

hotseat911 rated 35 months ago- Historical trivia, some great sound bits.

The-Moose rated 39 months ago- ... where's my cat? And who the hell are you - stop reading my brain! Purple feels Orange to me. Last week was Jelly (and scarabs don't like that...)

bluesman821 rated 40 months ago- Just the kind of trivia I love.

uproar rated 41 months ago- Yet another site I wish I had found when I was still in college...
