- I'm always looking for ways to conserve water. This toilet mounted washing machine is just a prototype, but I think it is a great idea. We'll be lucky if it is ever manufactured and even luckier if it is marketed in the U.S. What most folks don't realize is that water shortages are likely to become a serious issue long before oil shortages are an actual threat.
