FreaknFrog discovered 7 months ago- The Hilberry Repertory Theatre is the nation's only true graduate rotating repertory theatre. The company of fifty up-and-coming professionals attends classes at Wayne State University in the mornings, prepares for productions during the afternoons and performs for the public at night and on the weekends. As Michigan's most attended producing theatre, the Hilberry draws subscribers from not only Detroit and surrounding counties, but from as far away as Ohio and Canada. Through a rigorous audition process, only the nation's most promising theatre artists are hired into the Hilberry Repertory Theatre Company where they work for three years honing their crafts and earning Masters of Fine Arts degrees as well as entertaining Michigan audiences.
