Brilliant advice. There is so much stuff here, I think us dog lovers need to know about. However not sure about the bone thing. Know about poultry bones(bad) but raw beef bones are ok (?) I know that lots of natural chemicals in food which human systems can process, dogs can't, even healthy...

some are true, some are not. we've been feeding our dogs raw beef and turkey with ground up veggies in it for quite a while now, and they're healthier than they ever were on regular dog food - even the super high quality stuff. come on - do you think undomesticated dogs cook the animals they kill before they eat them?

Wow, I knew some of the things were not good for dogs. I seem to be confused about some of the others though as they seem to contradict what is written in some books and what my vet tells me..... for eg.. raw eggs, bones..... ????????

Some of the info on this page is incorrect. Raw bones are not prone to splintering, COOKED bones are. Salmonella from eggs in not a problem either. Dogs have a very short digestive tract to reduce the risk of foodbourne illness. Raw eggs are a great treat, they can even be given with the shells (if your dog will eat them).

It always surprises me how many people don't seem to understand that dogs should never eat chocolate, so it is worth passing along. I would not, however, feed my dog any bones, 'sterilized' or otherwise.

Page is titled "TOXIC FOOD FOR ANIMALS" yet only specifies what's toxic for a dog. Great work, team.
