- Interesting, but not entirely accurate. Jesus was NOT a vegetarian. He would have eaten the typical fare for a poor peasant BUT there is evidence that he was in homes of well-to-do and peasants alike and ate what was before him. and besides, he traveled with FISHERMAN for Pete's sake! He probably ate a ton of fish in his final 3 1/2 years!
