A huge collection of free ebooks that are online, with a listing of the top 100, from the last day, week, or month. They are mostly available in Palm, HTML, plain text, and PDF form. There are numerous classics available here.

Still wonderful after all these years. Pity about their "wiki based site design" To those readers who want "newer" books online: The whole point is to digitize *out-of-copyright* books. Of course you won't find anything from the 1950s!

I kind of wish they would have more books there for free reading, but some searches don't meet much in my demands. The site caters more towards the older literature of our history; not much the works of the 1950s and a few years before. Still, I hope some kind of vast and impressive online library will take place on a site like this someday.
