Cheramoya!! Yummy!! Tastes like banana pudding - with seeds. I tried to grow one locally, but it didn't make it. We need more 'weird food'!

I have a book about unusual fruits and vegetables and didn't think this page would tell me anything new. I was pleasantly surprised to find out about this yumberry thing and a couple of the others (cucumelon). I'll have to research these a bit more to see if they can be bought and more importantly grown here. I suspect I'll have to settle for buying the yumberry but I think the cucumelon would likely grow in the high temperate zone I live in.
