Use of the term "nanny state" implies liberals are the ones banning these substances, which is completely untrue. You're not going to find a lot of registered Republicans at a NORML rally. I agree otherwise with the overall sentiment though. Especially regarding pot and the Cuban trad...

Don't you ever feel the need to alternate smoking Cuban Cigars, Salvia, and Marijuana while drinking down a mixture of Unpasteurized Milk and Absinthe, and to pass the time tying knots in your Industrial Hemp now that your hands are steady cause your Parkinson's was cured by Embryonic Stem Cells? Well you can't cause the government won't let you!

Use of the term "nanny state" implies liberals are the ones banning these substances, which is completely untrue. You're not going to find a lot of registered Republicans at a NORML rally. I agree otherwise with the overall sentiment though. Especially regarding pot and the Cuban trade embargo. And stem cells.

From the page: "This year alone approximately $31,637,158,515 of tax payer money has been spent keeping medicine out of the hands of cancer patients and putting those who seek a hangover free buzz behind bars."

Stem Cells are not illegal or hated. It's just that no federal funding is going to research into this. Private funding is more than welcome. Grow a brain and get over the propaganda. They're not illegal.

An excellent list, though I don't hear about salvia much in the news and this is the first time milk smuggling has been brought to my attention.

From the page: "Now here is a plant that has a lot of uses. The fiber rich stems of the hemp plant can be used to make many products including paper, clothes, and rope, while the seeds can be used to make fuel for vehicles or eating, or even provide a healthy snack! Unfortunately, everyone making paper, clothes, rope, fuel for vehicles, etc. used this money and lobbying power to convince the US government to ban the cultivation of industrial hemp under the guise that it is somehow related to hemp's relation to the marijuana plant. A bad lie considering smoking industrial hemp won't do much more than give you a headache."
