atongchan rated 16 months ago- quite an interesting collection of wwII shots...

CeisiwrSerith rated 23 months ago- Photos taken by GIs and developed on the sly on Tinian. They range from Japanese dead to some great nose art. Real "You are there" stuff.

BigDaddyB rated 25 months ago- Black and white photographs of the U.S. military in the Pacific Theatre during World War 2. Most pics are family friendly, however; there are a couple that show the true cost of war. Please make sure children are out of the room. I would also like to thank the men and women of my grandparents generation. For the sacrifices they made to keep America free.

DrBlizzardo rated 25 months ago- What an amazing glimpse of the past--what a moving testament to the horrors of war. Thank you so much for sharing--thank you to your Grandfather for [preserving these for posterity...

vashsunglasses rated 25 months ago- Interesting WWII pics including one of an atomic explosion.

- Excellent photos. I love the photos of the semi-nude women on the planes. God knows we'd never get away with that today.

JohnShepler rated 25 months ago- Interesting slide show of personal photos from WWII. Features the island of Tinian, where the atomic bombs were dispatched.

iamnotsatan rated 26 months ago- What a great snapshot of a bad time. My thanks to the man that put this up.
