ZekeO rated 2 months ago- Like it, use it. No poroblem.

NEX2NUN rated 28 months ago- Once my Norton subscription expired, I moved to AVG, LUV IT!

dio525 rated 32 months ago- i've used it....it's great...better than some of the "other guys"

cuda rated 32 months ago- I've been using AVG exclusively for several years. I've also used BitDefender and ClamAV. AVG has never given me a problem and I always recommend it to friends and associates. It updates, scans, quarantines automatically. Why pay for a yearly subscription when you can get a better AV engine for free?

polajoo rated 43 months ago- The free stuff is good.

Horsefire rated 43 months ago- Easy to use, optimize, and updates regularly. Why make the big Corpo-schmucks rich paying for programs that are essentially ineffective and difficult to use?

huwnet rated 45 months ago- A great av product and there is a free version.

- I've been using AVG since early 2002. It's a nice professional antivirus app that I frequently recommend to friends and family who complain to me about the yearly fee that McAfee or Norton or whoever charges. Basically, this Czech company doesn't have the big name or money as McAfee or Norton or whatnot, but they're clearly positioning themselves as a corporate security solution; why else would they give away such nice frequently updated anti-virus software? I always recommend this to friends and family who ask me about the Norton/McAfee nag screens about subscription fees.
