Update: Thanks to the staggering public support for our international Dove campaign in April 2008, Unilever has now agreed to play their part in saving the Paradise Forests of South East Asia. As the biggest single buyer of palm oil in the world, Unilever has a special responsibility to help clean up the industry that's behind so much forest destruction.

Sign the petition and take a small step toward saving Indonesia's rainforests. Indonesia currently has the Guiness Record for the most rapidly disappearing rainforest.

From the page: "Unilever, the makers of Dove beauty products, are buying palm oil from suppliers who destroy Indonesia's rainforests. We've got the proof. They're causing forest destruction, species extinction and climate change." the Proof is there now-the legal trial will waste more as Unilever is not going to keep quiet!

Pretty well-done video. I don't like Dove products anyway. Another thought: can't they just "milk" the trees for palm oil like how we get syrup from Maple trees? I'm only kidding, but is it possible to get palm oil without destroying millions of acres of forest?

Talk to Dove before they destroy Paradise Forests

Unilever, the makers of Dove beauty products, are buying palm oil from suppliers who destroy Indonesia's rainforests. We've got the proof. They're causing forest destruction, species extinction and climate change.

Together we can make the company stop destroying forests for palm oil.
