halidom rated 33 months ago- Greenpeace uses the words, but not the power. They could do a lot more. Every time I see them, it seems like a lot of people traveling around and having fun, for a good cause, of course. Check out these people, they do stop whalers. http://www.seashepherd.org/news/media_030616_1.html

SketchSepahi rated 6 months ago- I am all for environmentalism and activism. However, I also have other values, which is why I am opposed to Greenpeace.
mikayf rated 9 months ago- The ecology is secondary to these people. Greenpeace is a militant political organization.
Seriously, you don't need to firebomb or crash ships to be green.
kaolelo rated 32 months ago- i agree with phobos

Phos rated 36 months ago- More & more I question what these folks are really doing. Greenpeace is doing for environmentalist what Peta is doing for vegatarians - making the world wide impression rather negative.
SysSpider rated 15 months ago- Paranoia at its best. My thumbs down has nothing to do with my ecologic beliefs or practices, but simply that they rely on biased "facts" and analysis; most of what they cite as evidence comes from the 70s and 80s. Not to mention tying people to ships is hardly the best way to fight for anything...
Stiphknees rated 32 months ago- A young man I know joined Greenpeace but they sent his money back when he persistently hassled them to let him, "go blow shit up".
lietkynes65 rated 35 months ago- ecoterrorists not needed, kthx
Airashii rated 35 months ago- Not for me -- no thanks.
anarch rated 35 months ago- if you give Greenpeace thumbs down, chances are you pollute too much..
