ar0cketman discovered 17 months ago- I tend to stay out of politics, but am boggled that conservatives have been moving away from the green initiatives. This blog lists the top ten reasons conservatives should support environmentalism. - Bush's ranch is more green than Al Gores mansion i dont beleive you can link conservativism with greenliness i do agree however that starting systems for paid garbage pick up will increase the economy and would be controled locally while if we hire one family itll increase there family ties and make america more beautiful, there isnt much potential business profit but the economy will be more healthy and could instill a cleaner future for america. It would be a totally new private enterprise and would be privately run. Although Mexico and El Salvador have tons of trash on there roads and they have patriotism..... cant fit national security into this one. Apparently terrorists HATE TRASH but living "Green" is a good moral position to have

- I agree with so much of this. One bone to pick is that conservatives are not green. Reason? I am a conservative and I have been green for a very long time. Reason? The other green. When I conserve energy, I save money.

- Interesting list, and I agree with it. All are excellent reasons for liberals, conservatives and gadflies to support environmentalism. We live on this planet, lets keep it clean.
