    Watch the short video - Thank our troops - Pass it on. I did not know about this program even though I have 3 family members in the military - It's a nice thing to do even if you don't support the wars - you can still support the troops

When someone takes a moment to say "thank you" or do something for me that they wouldn't have done if I was in civilian clothes, it makes me feel...good to say the least. I am the same person no matter if I'm wearing Dress Blues, BDUs or sweatpants. It is great to say thank you etc to military members in uniform, it is better to say thank you, etc, to every American Citizen. If your someone who will say thanks to someone in uniform but ignore them or clutch your purse if they are not in uniform... you need to look deeply into yourself and do more. If your not that person, correct that action when you see someone take it...

    I always feel a little weird when somebody thanks me when I'm in uniform because serving in the military is my job, and I pretty much just see it as doing my job, but it truly is a great feeling to know that we are supported and appreciated. A huge thanks to everybody who comes up to us and gives us their support. It would be so much harder for us to spend all these months and years away from home and our families if you didn't.
