Their teachers can seek it and then torture them until they throw their hands up in despair and engage in much harrumphing. What would I do for a living if such a vast number of those whom I'm charged with teaching weren't so horribly inept when it comes to grammar, spelling, and literature. I'm not being pessimistic...they all can learn....if only they applied themselves....mostly though they don't...pessimistic, burnt-out teacher wins! Yea!

It has many very nice lessons to be learned, but I refuse to support any grammar resource that tries to pass off such things as split infinitives and prepositions at the end of sentences as concrete rules. Neither one does any good for the language whatsoever.
