I think it's funny. Showing titties is now this intense feminist movement. Yet if a male is caught staring at titties, he's a pig. Honestly, there more important "womens rights" than letting them walk around topless. Feminism is 50/50 half of people are wanting actual, IMPORTANT rights for women, the other half just wanting stupid fluff like this to "try and make a point" Also yay let's walk around topless, increasing our chances of getting raped (she's already half naked, less work for the rapist!) The day I'll fully believe feminism is the day a woman takes a punch from a man without the man getting extra charges for hitting a woman and not a single woman in the world pulls that "I can't believe that man would hit a woman" And to all you women so oppressed here because you can't show your titties, go to the Middle East. Then you'll really have something to cry about.

Hmm. I am a big supporter of movements that are working toward women's equality within this patriarchal culture, and I am a big supporter of body-acceptance and nudism. Breasts were not always considered sexual objects and were not always viewed as obscene, and I think reclaiming our bodies and identities is extremely important. However, I really don't think this page does a good job of dispelling that or de-objectifying women. It seems to perpetuate the notion that women's breasts are "fun" and "sexy"-- the whole "liberation through being proud of being objectified" thing that we've seen over and over. And why are all the women depicted on the front page thin, young and stereotypically attractive with large "flawless" breasts? If this site was really about equality I would expect more of a variety in what is deemed "acceptable." It seems that the only women who will ever be allowed to be topless are the "sexy" ones, who will please the gawking men.

I can't really say much on the subject, it's true that female breasts are considered a sexual symbol, but I suppose not in all cultures? You do have tribes where women walk around topless, I suppose for those people it's nothing sexual. Also I'm not sure how many people, or let's just say, men, support this solely to increase the level of emancipation. Until I'll learn more about this, I don't see this as one of the biggest issues we should be taking care of right now, so thumbs down.

Although I support having more boobs everywhere... These feminists are idiots. It's blatantly obvious why men can (though in their example, sometimes shouldn't) go topless in public.... MEN DON'T HAVE SEXUAL DISPLAY SACKS ON THEIR CHEST. If you want to fight for that, you have to fight for FULL NUDITY, not just topless, freakin idiots.

I'm surprised I never thought about this before. It makes sense, really. Constitutionally, women should be equally allowed to show their topless bodies as men. The only difference is that one set of breasts produces milk, and the other does not. Women's breasts being considered private parts is a cultural thing (that they're combating); it's not an unchangeable facet of human physiology.
