With Google Pirate, you have all the same functionality with web searches, but with the addition of being able to search through all the different files indexed.

if I wanted to give in the exact file name I can also use google, but nevertheless it did not work on any of my search terms

Could be much better. Personalization is missing, because it always searches with quotes, which brings a lot less results, and there's no way to change it. Better use the actual functions of Google search by yourself.
