    Google has earnt its place by hard work, innovation and to some extent giving us free products where other attempts have failed or been watered down. Googlemail is probably the best email I have ever used web based or otherwise. The doc store is class and the search engine brilliant. Dominance is earned and just like a dominant Lion, Google has kicked the ass out of its competitors, so its place at the top is in my opinion justified and a good thing.

    iGoogle is my browser home page. As a Googlemail user, I can see my emails, RSS reader, news, documents, notes, bookmarks, clippings, all in one convenient tabbed view. While I think Google is perhaps too dominant in the Internet world, they do what the do so well. And it doesn't cost me anything.

    Wicked! I can comment about the most bland page on the internet! That's not to say Google doesn't produce interesting search results, but that a screen which is 99% white was never going to be exciting.
