This is a good conversation though, and despite this quoted counterpoint, one cannot deny that there are many things that Muslims have accomplished.
How we react to the claims of Muslim inventions very much shows how much we want a specific philosophy to be true. - If you scour the web you may find that a lot of this isn't true, and some of the ideas were stolen from non-muslims living in muslim-conquered lands.Nothing much new has been invented through islam in hundreds of years.
