Well, what's the problem? If the guy was applying for the FBI and his "close personal mentor of over 20 years" was a KGB agent there might be a problem. If he was applying for greenpeace and his "close personal mentor of over 20 years" was one of the most famous hunters in the world. ............

Yes yes, he was quoting someone else's words when the good rev made those statements during his service. But he must have agreed with those statements enough to quote them though eh? Also judging by other recordings of various sermons, this kinda of reasoning was pretty much the norm at the good rev's church...I'm just saying

So Obama sat there at that church for 20 years, hearing all these radical preachings, and didn't agree with it? You don't stick around a place like that if you don't believe what's being said, at least a little bit.

Yeah, I guess we should apply the same standard we use in hiring temps to the election of the President of the country.

I agree that the statements were taken out of context, I've read his words in their entirety and found them eminently reasonable (although a little strong by the end), but this cartoon is just stupid.

Pssh, what are you talking about, thanks to Facebook and Myspace, it's getting to where that IS how employers hire--remember that topless picture from Spring Break 2 years ago? Yeah...that just cost you that job.

I approve of the sentiment, but not the method.
