- Wow! What a way to ruin a bunch of kids! No wonder the US populace has virtually no scientific understanding.
The ridiculous state of Kansas has mandated creation "theory" as part of all public school curriculum.
A real study ((http://www.nytimes.com/2005/08/30/science/30profile.html), on going for a few decades, has isolated that less than 10% of Americans have any scientific savvy.
Science and reason is and always has been the true enemy of the church. Even in the garden of Eden, KNOWLEDGE was the forbidden fruit... interesting.
Why would any loving (parental) god want us to be dumb?
As a parent, would you not want your kids, adopted or otherwise, to be the smartest around?
Personally I like the dig at circular logic... - Wow! What a way to ruin a bunch of kids! No wonder the US populace has virtually no scientific understanding.
