A sausage can contain ground up intestines. How can anyone be sure that the intestines are empty when they are ground up? Do you really want to eat the content of a pig's intestines?

I've been a vegetarian for about 25 years. I know the arguments. I doubt that they actually persuade people who are not already inclined. However, I'd like to note that vegetarian food is not necessarily boring! In fact, since I've been one my food world has expanded immeasurably. It's bizarre that a person will point to one vegetarian and assume that all vegetarians are like that one.

Well I wasn't born a vegetarian and I'm still not-but the arguments are piling up. Still my ex girlfriend was a vegetarian-not even mushrooms!! and god was food becoming boring!

From the page: "# African countries - where millions are starving to death - export grain to the developed world so that animals can be fattened for our dining tables.http://crackmyfinger.stumbleupon.com/

From the page: "Vegetarians are fitter than meat eaters. many of the world's most successful athletes are vegetarian". Technically if many top athletes are vegetarians, then most top athletes are not vegetarians, hence vegetarians are not a priori fitter. right?

From the page: "In a lifetime, the average meat eater will consumer 36 pigs, 36 sheep and 750 chickens and turkeys. Do you want that much carnage on your conscience?" I don't have a conscience, sorry. ( well not really)
