Here in the United States, you'll rarely find a welcome mat set out for your canine companion to wipe his paws on. But if you're sick of all the "No Rover" rules, it might be time to plan a doggie holiday to Tuscany.

TAKE YOUR DOG OUT TO DINNER AND A MOVIE. Thanks 'miranda622'. People always say that dogs are man's best friend - but why don't they act like it? Your furry four-legged pal seems to face discrimination at every turn. He can't accompany you to your favorite coffee shop. He got shooed out of the movie theatre, even though you know he would have loved Eight Below even more than you did. And don't even think about taking him to your favorite shoe store.

From the page: "Take Your Dog Out to Dinner and a Movie in Italy" Of my two large dogs, I can imagine without any problem my girl Sadie at an Italian restaurant. Italian is her favorite, with spaghetti and meatballs being the tops in her mind, due to the amount made and that I always seem to make too much. She would be sitting very quietly, looking the other way til she thought I was done. Then would want her plate.

A unique new law to take effect this June in Tuscany, Italy, will give all domestic pets an all-access pass to the region's restaurants, movie theaters, museums, post offices, and beaches.
