miranda622 discovered 3 months ago- From the page: "Willy Wonka came up with some pretty cool confectionary creations: Non-melting ice cream. The Everlasting Gobstopper. Edible wallpaper. And who wouldn't have loved to try his Three-Course-Dinner-Gum? (Though we probably wouldn't have been so wild about turning into a giant blueberry, a la Violet Beauregard.) But did you know there's a nature-made treat that rivals any of Wonka's wild concoctions? It's the miracle fruit, a berry from West Africa with an amazing effect: When you eat a piece of the strange fruit, it makes everything sour taste sweet for the next hour or so. "

kevinryanmooney rated 7 weeks ago- I was skeptical, but checked into it, and it appears to be legit. I hope it's not an elaborate fake.

ichbinbored rated 2 months ago- Saw this on brainiac a while ago (yeah I know, it's all fake). Looks pretty cool.

- yeah, knew about this quite a few years back, got a couple berries to try. It works, it's brilliant, it's fun.

ceruleansky rated 3 months ago- There's a link to the Wall Street Journal article that corroborates the story. It's true.

- you know, I think this might be b.s. The wikipedia article talks about how it's been suppressed by the FDA... I think this is a marketing scheme. Still, it probably has a moderate effect, and I'd love to try it.

- doubt it's true

- Sounds like a prank to me.
