It shares all GIMP's advantages, including the long feature list and customisability, while addressing some common criticisms regarding the program's interface: GIMPshop modifies the menu structure to closely match Photoshop's, adjusts the program's terminology to match Adobe's, and, in the Windows version, uses a plugin called 'Deweirdifier' to combine the application's numerous windows in a similar manner to the MDI system used by most Windows graphics packages. - Adobe Photoshop CS2 clone You may of heard of the GIMP. It's an excellent photo image processing application. It's as good as anything else and best of all it is free. Gimpshop is a version, also free, of GIMP made to resemble Photoshop. Highly recommended..IMO.

- Although I recently bought a copy of Photoshop CS2, I would heartily recommend GIMPshop to those who are short on cash. GIMPshop is a modification of GIMP to give it a look and feel similar to Adobe Photoshop. The best part is that it's free. The creator's site can be found here. Also checkout this plug-in that allows GIMP to use 3rd party Photoshop plug-ins.
