From the page: "You can even study it, transform it as you please, or build and sell your own distribution." lol, yeah if you have a computer science degree. This is an absolutely shit article. You can get software free on windows too if you know how, and an antivirus really isnt that bigger deal, all these linux fanboys think that running an antivirus is some painful experience that makes you want to cry, it is just a background program. They also missed out what linux cant do, everything I do on computers: Adobe Creative Suite Microsoft Office 2007 (fuck off open office) iTunes + iPod MSN (linux msns are shit) Wait so, why would I want to switch and move all my files and get used to installing software from the command line again? Oh right yeah, because 'Linux benefits from a great sense of community'. Oh fuck off.

Linux and it's multitude of variants have come a long way. There's still not the support for laptops with WinModems, to enable download of the latest versions and additional applications. Ubuntu is raved about not unduly. It doesn't always like installing on a laptop. It's just as well running different the plethora of games and programs on LiveCDs is a great diversion, albeit slow and noisy. I'm still hopeful yet...

Honest, to the point, unbiased, I like it! Unfortunately, I won't be switching to Linux until there's better gaming and driver support... we'll see with time.
