- Oh man, I've stayed up for thirty-six hours once.

TheGreatZarquon rated 4 months ago- His explanation might be weird, but you can't deny the results. I'm sure there's a much more scientific explanation for exactly how he did it, and I'd love to see it.

Folkers rated 8 months ago- The theory is ridiculous and the practice is dangerous. Sleep deprivation can scar the brain permanently - even Wright started seeing pixies and elves on his computer screen after ten days. Though the period of time is impressive* - he succeeded in doing what nobody should do, ever - this does not vindicate his ridiculous dietary theory. * But not unheard of - he only stayed awake a few hours longer than the previous record holder

- It should be noted that many birds sleep on one side at a time. Put three ducks in a row. Duck L keeps it's left eye open, duck R, it's right, duck M just sleeps. After a while, they switch places. On that note, I'm going to bed. If I dream about ducks playing pool, well, that'd be pretty cool, and I'll tell you about it.

avigle rated 9 months ago- New sleep-deprivation record holder Tony Wright tells Gelf he's altered his brain chemistry and thus can stay up indefinitely. So far, my maximum uptime (with computers/cell phones/books) is 4 days and 7hrs and from my own experience, I can say that if one tries, staying awake for days is not impossible. It's hard but not impossible. In the start, your body will require hours of rest if you have spent more than 4 days without sleep but day by day, your body clock will get used to your routine. Just take healthy drinks, etc if you're staying awake too much because our body needs lots of energy during these type of experiments.
