A really comprehensive look at the true energy costs of running today's most popular HDTVs. Nice comparison of the most popular LCD and Plasmas on the marketplace.

I don't give a rats ass about how green my tv is as long as football is on and my DVR is working.

From the page: "Green, green, green, everything is becoming environmentally-friendly these days â€" cars, homes, and even our entire lifestyles. But do you actually know how much energy your HDTV is using?"

Power Guzzlers: How Green Is Your HDTV?

From the page: "Research has also showed that about 1out of 3 homes are not actually taking advantage of HD programming. This means that people are buying these power-hungry big-screen HDTVs, and theyâ€re not even using them to take advantage of the ultra-clear HD picture. Why buy a power-guzzling plasma HDTV when youâ€re not even going to watch HD-programming on it?…It doesnâ€t make sense."

Good comparison that focuses on the environmental impact of buying a plasma or LCD. Didn't see my 32" LG on there, pretty sure that's a bad sign for my electricity bill!
