From the page: "Greenberg goes on to debate that the 360 already offers HD flick and TV downloads, plus an exciting list of games."

MS has been saying since the beginning they would not put in the next-gen optical drives, because they were not sure which would win, and Bill Gates has several times that he believes that downloads are going to take the place of physical media. In short- You're an idiot if you thought MS would put HD-DVD or Blu-ray into the 360.

"People bought their Xbox 360s in holidays for Halo 3 and Bioshock and Mass Effect and Guitar Hero and Rock Band. They were not purchasing an Xbox to check 300," Greenberg told Next-Gen.

Thanks "sweetdeepa" for tipping me to this. Presently the technical wave is "going Blu!" Despite what "anyone" may say during this transition, the insiders are shifting everything towards Blu-ray and vise-versa. It's only logical, with greater capacity and clarity the question should not have lasted this long. Compatibilities will be across the board.
