From the page: "Tom[/Jane], hating his[/her] wife[/husband] and wanting her[/him] dead, puts poison in her[/his] coffee, thereby killing her[/him]. Joe[/Debbie] also hates his[/her] wife[/husband] and would like her[/him] dead. One day, Joe's[/Debbie's] wife[/husband] accidentally puts poison in her[/his] coffee, thinking it's cream. Joe[/Debbie] has the antidote, but he[/she] does not give it to her[/him]. Knowing that he[/she] is the only one who can save her[/him], he[/she] lets her[/him] die. Is Joe's[/Debbie's] failure to act as bad as Tom's[/Jane's] action?" Yeah. Fuck you.

I would hate to have to front up to any of these choices really.... Basically it boils down to what you can live with....

What are ethics anyway? If you think that the group is more important than the individual then you will not have problems with killing off old people because it makes more resources for the rest of the world where there appears to be limited resources. In todays world we want no individuals but a bunch of people all working for the better good. While it sounds good we have to understand that individuals lead while the group becomes a mob. An individual with a good moral compass will do the right thing. We all need to be individuals that question everything, that way we won't be led by immoral people who promise us everything but deliver only for their own benefit, while giving us crumbs. Chavez and Castro fall into this category.

"these aren't dilemmas. they're all obvious unless you're completely blinded by sentimental bullshit. most of them equate to "option 1 makes you kill people directly but some still live while option 2 makes you kill even more people or everyone indirectly" which should be obvious." Ehh, just the first few. I liked it overall.
