Galphanore rated 7 months ago- It's so wrong that an innocent young boy was forced into feeling so outcast, by his own mother, that he killed himself. This is a perfect example of why religion is evil.

God is no source of altruism or love.
In the end, only hatred, ignorance and loneliness stem from belief in such an epically conceieved fairy tale. Take a moment, Step back from whatever ideas you have about religion, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Whatever. Look at the total sum of what religion has done to the world. We feel isolated through sin and piety and this alledged spiritual unity with a metaphysical figure that is so frequently promised only comes to the blithely ignorant or those who choose to be that way. Religion has killed many people, Not just in war, in incidencies just like this, and taken many people hostage to threats of eternal damnation and sin. People seem to only find solace in religion when fighting that which they don't believe in, Would the world be happier if we were all one religion? I doubt it. Percieved righteousness in fighting, literally fighting wars in the past, and 'fighting' ideals modernly, and through these wars against ideals and, instrumentated by religion, This boy, I'm sure among so many others, Has felt alone for a very long time, Isolated from the world, and felt unloved by anyone, all because of something people use to feel better about thier existence, Do you feel better? - .. and Thus Spoke Zarathustra

- This honestly makes me want to cry. Let this stand as evidence against those who place arbitrary ideas ahead of people with genuine feelings. This poor boy did not deserve to spend the last moments of his life feeling totally alone because those around him could not accept him. What a testament to the danger of blind acceptance of doctrine over love. Listen to the fundamentalists encourage the stance that killed this child! It's pure horror. I am personally not a homosexual, but I feel that I have never been more sympathetic than I am now. Sad, sad, sad.

- this is terrible. a perfect example of what god can do to people. there are plenty of less hateful and less dangerous ways to find happiness other than blind theism.
