We need to revisit this ... and back away from the food to fuel policy." I would personally love to see regular gasoline at fuel pumps again. My husband and I bought vehicles that got (emphasis on the past tense) good gas mileage, until 10% ethanol was introduced into the gasoline. My husband's MPG has decreased from 45 MPG to 37, mine has decreased from 30 to 25 (I drive a mini-van because I drive the children around). I just learned certain stations in town didn't have ethanol in their gas, but they still charged the same prices as the stations that have ethanol. How does that work? Since last week, all stations in town are required to have ethanol in their gasoline.
