an unfortunate attempt to equate historical information with the current republican mores. Don't buy a bill of goods here folks. There's a bunch of interesting history here, but "Americans across the country are rediscovering the "Don't Tread on Me" slogan. Many are part of the new Tea Party Movement protesting massive government spending and bailouts. What would the founding fathers think of all this?" ...??? They might just have something to say about the incredible asshjattery of the last administration that leaves us in a position in need of such astronomical actions. Or they might have a few choice words for the position we have allowed corporations to take in our economic and legal landscapes. And that fair folks is who is really behind just about every point of emphasis on the repulican charter these days. And it's too damn bad the true consservatives are too busy buying into the bullshit divide and conquer calls to action that are being thrown into the works instead of seeing that their masters are as far from true conservative values and the spirit of "don't tread on me" as they could possibly get. WAKE UP!
