A pair of Italian artists, Viola&Attila, offer us Pervart. Luckily the artists and their Pervart can be found on Flickr. Through collage and other mixed media, Viola&Attila have managed to turn pornography into art, without making the viewer feel safe and justified in their act of gentrication. From porn to art, it is all a question of the collector. In showing the hands of what they call 'the pervese collector' in their 'Thank-you for Buying' series, Viola&Attila suggest that the secret shame of pornography is that it does not know what real perversity is - too wholesome by far.
