Normally when stumbling I have the attention span of I sparrow. I've spent a good hour, looking at these photographs and reading the descriptions and stories of the people photographed. Beautiful, striking images and heart-breaking stories.

- As an observer, this is beautiful... and no doubt everyone involved agreed to their photo being but to some extent, this is voyeurism (but on this occasion I can't express genuine disdain)

- Drop in here at stoneths' collection if your ego starts acting up, but dont stay too long, the honesty is too much to bear for all but the saintliest. How do we value Humanity? Are we our brothers keepers, can we reconcile the depths of despair washing along the beach we call society?

We place value on society using a scare resource which we called dollars. It is a corrupted, hoarded and unintentional placement of value. The system we live in is archaic and shortsighted - and only serves the interests of the fearful and greedy elite. It is destroying our hopes and dreams. It is robbing Humanity from it's inheritance of a beautiful world.
How do we Value Him? Think about it. How do you want to be valued?

Stoneth of flickr captures the part of humanity that has been cast out of the system, and he makes them human again. Some images and stories are gut-wrenching - but they make you look into the eyes of your fellow beings, who unfortunately landed on the wrong side of fortune...it could have been you, it could have been me.
