Tania6538 discovered 3 months ago- I have been spoilt rotten for the last two weeks as my significant other took me to the Dordogne and the Lot and showed me all these region's fantastic sights! Every day was a highlight but perhaps one of the most incredulous sights was the village of Rocamadour! It truly is an amazing specacle to behold! There are quite a few medieval villages morphed into the sides of vast rock faces in this part of the world but Rocamadour is the most stunning example! This photo shows the immense detail on just one small section of the chapel moulded into the rock face.
