No. it's not exactly like Google Earth. Google Earth is crap expecially after one day when they stopped coverage of my area. Microsoft VE may be a bit old, but it's the best. Great site!

Way too slow when you can simply go to the included websites and use a faster service anyway. Google Maps is way faster...

Worked great for me, no plug-ins or downloads. I saw my house and my favorite vacation spot too.
