Wonderful review of the 10 Commangments, as they relate to modern society. Although, I must admit I do have a differing view on "don't kill" because there are certain circumstances where I do believe that it is acceptable.

"The Ten Commandments are no longer valid. They are outdated and outmoded and don't begin to address the needs of a complex, literate, technological society or of a civilization of six billion diverse individuals. OK, some of them, like "don't kill" an

Most of the 10 Commandments are decent enough as rules for living, although I don't believe they were divinely inspired. I just wish we could have this discussion without immediately polarizing all of the participants.

From the page: "They are outdated and outmoded and don't begin to address the needs of a complex, literate, technological society or of a civilization of six billion diverse individuals. Comments: Widely disregarded and for good reason - we would have to kill every teenager on the planet. As satisfying as it would be, it is a tad harsh in my estimation."

A discussion of the Ten commandments. I wouldn't mind Thou shalt not kill or steal being more widely followed. Alas, many Christians seem to ignore these.

This is hilarious, because it's true. I could probably think of something funny to add, but what's the point. Also, I'm lazy.
