    There is nothing here you can't get anywhere else. On top of that, you have to wait in a queue to download things. Oh, but you can BYPASS the queue by giving them a monthly fee. Fuck that. I'll go to another site and download the same file instantly.

    Used to go here when I first started playing FPSs to get patches for Medal of Honor. I did not know of anywhere else to go. That was years ago, today there are tons of better places where you can get the exactly same files at better download speeds. They can shove the subscriber beta exclusives up their asses.

    this is literally the worst fucking site i have come across since that one site that literally raped me then kicked me. fuck fileplanet. all the idiots thumbs-upping this horseshit are morons who wasted money on it, and are trying to convince themselves that it was worth the money. way to go idiots, way to fucking go. if i could burn one goddamn website to death, i would choose fileplanet.

    A good place for a gamer to stay up to date with the newest games, demos, videos. Although unless you subscribe you will have to que to download.

    Fileplanet is like paying someone money to not kick you in the balls every time they walk by. Pay them money they're your best friend, choose not to and they smack you around and remind you with each indignity that all you have to do to make it stop is toss them a few bucks or stay away. Yeah... great... Game companies and advertisers already pay good money to get their content on the site and we have to pay the monthly to be able to download it. Good racket.

    Fileplanet forces you to get an account (for which they take in your birthdate and zip code) in order to wait 30 minutes in a queue to download a file that's available in ten other places. To make matters worse, their download system uses an ActiveX control, and therefore fails for everyone who is not using Internet Explorer. Big thumbs down for File Planet.

    Notice how the people who don't have pay accounts don't like the site? I've been a paying member of Fileplanet for several years now, I've had no complaints, I get fast download speeds and no wait time. There are plenty of occasions where I've played a beta demo before it's released on any other site. Great account to have if you're a gamer and you want to have access to the latest game demos, patches and sneak peak vids :D
