While it seems funny (those last two questions), you would be amazed at how often the caller, out of habit, blurts out this information. Those are essentially the same instructions we utilized at duty desks in the military for years. The caller is amped up, their brain isn't at its best (obviously) and their judgment fails them. Doesn't always work, but when it does, it's a biggie.
