The good 'ol El of Chicago. Can't say I miss the smell of urine in the morning or bums passed out reeking of alcohol next to you. It is pretty convenient though. So yeah, go public transportation!

good to see chicago looking a little more organized than other cities. if only it didn't cost so damn much to ride now.

This is really interesting and the rest of the site has some great conceptual work on it - I really liked the way this guy thinks.

Amazing how Paris' subway, presented on the same scale with other cities (like for example NY), is so tiny, yet is much more extensive and has more subway stops that are closer together.

Interesting how seemingly random they look. Almost like cutaway views of ant colonies.

Impressive. Now that we can see that other cities have comparably sized systems, what is NYC's excuse for having a subway that sucks so badly in comparison with the rest of the modern world?
