Folkers rated 20 months ago- Number five is mine. Now I have fame, fortune will soon follow. But I'm thumbing this down anyway.

Interesting and funny blog entry from someone who uses SU. How he has dealt with some of the negative comments he receives (either directly, or in response to his reviews).
From the page: "And there's one other benefit from StumbleUpon that I had not anticipated: The opportunity to practice breathing and non-judgment while reading some of the, how shall I say, er, interesting comments that people have left in response to some of my posts.
And, the interesting thing is that I really do mean interesting. Some (and I must emphasize SOME) of the comments, while insulting, judgmental and dismissive, contain truly valuable observations and insights."
lymanreed rated 22 months agostumbleupon - Great stuff! Some are funny, some are sad, but the best part about it is that Ed looked for the lessons in all of them.

aaron114 rated 22 months agohumor, stumbleupon, law-of-attraction - HA - funny stuff! As Edward indicates, there is certainly some effort involved in keeping a positive face on when you read comments like these, but he has done a great job of seeing the humorous value in them. Which, I think, is irony in itself considering that positive value has been found in comments that were starkly negative. I bet the original comment authors would love a chance for a rebuttal so they could toss some more negativity around!
DanAndJenn rated 22 months agostumbleupon, self-help, personal-development, stubmle, law-of-attraction - OMG! These are great! Only slightly more intelligent than the comments we got on Shoutwire... I thought the Stumble audience was more intelligent that that?
