7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!

That was good. I never understood the whole tongues thing. I asked a baptist about that and the answer I got: drunk on the holy ghost. I promptly walked away from that one. I like how all the christians wonder why atheists put up sites like this and dedicate their time and energy to try and change people's beliefs. well if that's how you christians feel don't ever come knocking on my fucking door with a pamphlet ever again. otherwise if you're gonna try to convert, then so are we. at least we don't bother your personal space with pamphlets on science and logic.

It's so trueeee. I got in a debate with a Christian once and I knew more about the Bible and the history of Christianity than he did. hahaha, and the only reason he believed that crap was because of a woman he knew who said she was a prophet. Aren't psychics like... the same thing? hahaha, oh welllllll.

To nicholaslaning, You'll notice that the web page says "Top Ten Signs You're A Fundamentalist Christian". Not all Christians are fundamentalist Christians, but yet you took it upon yourself to fire back at the atheists who choose to pick at the Christians. It is possible for atheists to not pick at Christians, but we don't really have a word for our "fundamentalist" atheists, so Christians lump all atheists together as "fundamentalist atheists". With regard to your horrendously flawed Top Ten list: 1. Religion does not hold a monopoly on morality. It is possible to be just and moral while being non-religious at the same time. Also, objective morality does not exist, as the Bible was written by men. 2. It is annoying when people force their religion on me in extreme situations - i.e. telling me that they do not wish to associate themselves with me because I am an atheist, or attempting to convert me, or other things along this line. It is very possible to try to force your religion on someone. Also, ONE atheist made this website; it is absurd to claim that all atheists are responsible for this or that this is something atheists regularly do. 3) I believe that there is no God. That isn't the same thing as believing in nothing. I don't know how the universe began, but I subscribe to the Big Bang Theory. Other than that, I don't know and I don't especially care. Faith is also definitely not "calling it like it is", please don't pass it off as such. 4) Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. I'm not even going to dignify this with a response because there's logical fallacy coming out the asshole of this one. Perhaps next we should attribute all murders to lack of belief in Santa Claus or the Troubles in Ireland to a lack of belief in leprechauns. 5) Once again, reviewed website was not made by me, so please don't paint us all with the same brush. Also, I do not mind when people have different beliefs than I do, but I mind when people try to assert that their belief is the correct one or that I should believe it too. 6) I don't believe there is no point to life. Now you're either making up statements or assuming that the creator of this website is our spokesman. 7) The main difference here is that scientific fact is updated to keep with current information. Religious texts are not. We keep finding new things out about the world in which we live, which demands that we revise our theories. This is good scientific practice. 8) The statement you have there is more meant to show that atheists don't kill for the sake of atheism, while most (read that word again, most) religions have had blood spilled in their name. 9) I do not hate that which does not exist, sorry. 10) If I found a computer in the forest, I would assume that it had a designer. This is valid not because it is complex, but because watches do not naturally occur. The same cannot be said of a tree or a human being, which is arguably as complex as a computer. These "snide comments" that you cry about are made against those who would call our beliefs "angsty" and "childish". If you are not one of those people, then this should not concern you. Unless of course you actually have the prescribed reactions to each scenario on that list, in which case it's highly likely that you are in fact a fundamentalist Christian...
