This site takes a cold, hard look at the dark side of the iron age, Abrahamic God without apology to the legions of approximate devotees who live in denial. I heard a Christian once say, "Don't judge Christianity by the behaviour of some[Christians]... Judge Christianity by God and by God's character and by God's word." If I were to do this, the only conclusion I could come to realistically is that Christianity subscribes to the will of an entity("God") that, by today's Western moral standards, would be considered largely malevolent and sociopathic. For me, this holds true for the aggressive nature of the "God" of the Abrahamic mythologies generally.

I've quoted from this site so many times. Thanks for organizing all the good parts of the "Good Book" in one place.

What's awesome is that no one really knows WHY the Torah, and then the Bible (and the Koran, it being one of the religious texts that sprung up after the fall of Babylon) seeks to keep women subservient and controlled: before all this precious recorded religiousness, there was a Goddess, a Great Goddess, who was worshiped, revered, and respected as the Mother of All Things (including God). All these texts want to do is keep woman out of the divine equation. Just look at how much of the Torah is dedicated to telling a man how to control a woman. The tribes of Yaweh destroyed all but a few a bits of information about the Great Goddess, who was worshiped throughout the ancient world. Fucking barbarians.

The front page sets a bad tone for the rest of the website. It comes off as more of a rant than anything else, and while the other pages are still valid, they lose some credibility.

Meh. The Bible isn't perfect, but a well-written, scholarly discourse discrediting it this website ain't.
