Haha, my mom shoulda done that. I remember one time she got fed up of driving me to school after missing the bus a ton of times so she made me walk to school 2 miles as a 9 year old. I got offered 3 rides but I knew not to get in cars with strangers. It was a long ass walk too....

My daughter is about to turn 9. She doesn't have problems getting out of bed. My son will start Kindergarten in 2 weeks. He'll be the issue. I'm filing this away.
