- From the page: "The Fascist Insect is a hypothetical bogeyman with the same existential status as the Flying Spaghetti Monster, although the sheer weight of evidence in its favor may establish its existence through consensus, given the Wikiality of the World Wide Web. The term was first made popular by Patty Hearst, although it soon fell into disuse for various reasons. The Insect can be traced to the First Council of Nicea. After that point it instituted a patriarchal, misogynistic, and heteronormative society in the nation states controlled by the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. Eventually it would move west to France, controlling the Holy Roman Empire through the Roman Catholic Church."
