If you use it you don't deserve to call yourself a writer, that's mediocre!!!

What an interesting idea; shame you have to sign up before you can try it...

From the page: "The fastest way to a perfect paper EssayRater is an advanced writing tool that proofs your papers and protects you against: * Plagiarism * Spelling errors * Poor word choice * Poor grammar * Punctuation mistakes" Unbelievable. I have analyzed the text from our homepage at www.vyass.org and this service indicated that it is from our website. I got 92 percent marks against 100 marks. But you need to upgrade to enjoy their complete solutions. I think it is worth upgrading if you are a professional writer.

Please don't use computers or robots to proofread your papers. Use a human being. Tell them to be very critical. Read your paper out loud to yourself. Does it sound natural? Does it follow patterns you see in published writing (textbooks, literature...)? There are some people who don't realize the space comes after the period at the end of a sentence, not before. All you have to do is look in a book to figure that one out.

If anyone thinks that they need this software, they really should consider improving their English in a proper manner.

Oh the irony. Right now, I'm writing a research paper for my english class, dealing with how college freshmen view writing. Somewhat serendipitously, this "tool" appeared in firefox for me to marvel at. Do these people think that writing can really be reduced to clockwork? Writing isn't this external set of rules set in stone; writing has to be an internalized process before it means anything at all. Judging by the other ratings of this site, however (except for the stumble-tool who works for them) everyone else realizes how dumb this is.
