- Regardless of what the critics of Cindy say, she is one woman with an army of civilians and military behind her, trying to stop an insane war. Photo ops are not her thing - that's Georgie's trip - she simply gets up and speaks. No makeup person, hairdresser, no retinue. And she speaks the truth. Regardless of what her attackers say, her son was killed in a war of opportunism and the "wager" of that war will not take an hour to speak to her and explain what the great honor was that he died for. Democracy? Did they ask us for democracy? Are we such a glowing example of freedom in this country? We who have been herded into "free speech zones"? I think not.
