Great source for music downloads. They hook you up with free music a lot and good grip load to start with.

They somehow managed to charge me 12 bucks and I never got anything from them. These bastards should be imprisoned.

I'm a music purist. For years I've refused to download mp3's because it's my belief that the sound quality just isn't as good. In recent years, I've even boxed up most of my CD collection and begun buying vinyl again - talk about quality! However, with the economy the way it is these days, I suppose we all have to make sacrifices. While I don't want to download illegally, it may sadly be time for me to stop buying vinyl at $25 - $30 a pop and begin looking into a subscription service of some kind. A friend told me about Napster, but I didn't like that you can't actually OWN the music, but rather you stream it for a monthly cost and then still have to pay $.99 to actually download and own the song. I also looked at iTunes, but I really don't want to go through the hassle of revamping my computer's software - especially when I don't even own an iPod. Recently, though, I came upon the site Emusic that costs between twelve and twenty bucks a month and gives me anywhere from 30 to 75 music downloads a month to keep. At its most expensive, I'd be paying about $.27 a song - almost a quarter of the price of iTunes. Not a bad deal, but before I go ahead and sign up, I'd like to get some honest feedback from those of you who have used it. Has anyone on here used http://www.emusic.com, and if so, what has your experience been? Thanks
